Why did you decide to create Bunny Slippers?


Because we wanted them and there was no quality product on the market, we decided to engineer and produce them as we knew they should be.


When may I expect to receive my order?

We ship out of the Clover Patch Monday-Friday, excluding Federal holidays. If your order is received by noon Central Time, it generally goes out the same day. Received after noon, it will ship next business day morning. Our USPS Priority Mail service indicates delivery within 2-3 business days.


If I need to contact Runaway Rabbit about my order, what is the best way to reach you?

Because we are not always available in The Wabbitat, you may leave a message on “the rabbit phone,” 270.843.0023. We’ll call you back ASAP. You may email us at customerservice@runawayrabbit.com. Please have your order number handy!


Is it OK to wash my bunny slippers?

We are so happy that you are concerned with the Care and Feeding of your Bunnies.

We cannot recommend any cleaning process that deviates from the method stated on the care tag found inside the bunny. That said, we CAN share with you that we have laundered our bunnies repeatedly and successfully. Just zip them into a mesh laundry bag and toss into the washer on gentle / cold water cycle. When the cycle is complete, remove the bunnies, whack the soles together a couple of times to fluff them up, reshape the ears and let them air dry. Do NOT put the bunnies in the dryer. Again, we cannot recommend that you clean your slippers this way or any way other than as stated on the tag. We hope this is helpful!


What do I do if everyone in my family wears my bunny slippers so much that I don’t get to wear them myself?

Buy each of them their own pair of hares and tell them to leave your bunnies alone.


What if I need to exchange the size or return an item I ordered?

Very simple. Just email us with your request. We will send a Return Authorization form via return email. Print it out, follow instructions on the form and return along with your [unworn, tags attached] product and any payment required to the address indicated.


Is it true that Bunny Slippers have healing properties or medical uses?

No, although it has been suggested that the power of the Bunnies to bring a smile to the lips and laughter to the heart is a healthy side affect when sporting this outstanding footwear.


What’s the deal with NOT YOUR GRANNY’S BED JACKET? I don’t get it.

We knew we had a winner when everyone who saw it said, “WOW! Why didn’t I think of that?!” This deliciously versatile robe alternative provides just the right amount of coverage (without the bulk) over your jammies at home and is absolutely perfect for popping on to run your errands. This perfect marriage of loungewear and sportswear in contemporary style and good looks!


What size Bunny Slippers should I order?

That’s kind of a tough one since we don’t know what size your feet are, so here are some guidelines that will help you if you are on the line between two sizes.

Classic Bunny Slippers: Let’s say you are on the line between two sizes; you wear a size 7½ or 8 shoe, exactly between a size Medium and Large. We recommend that you purchase the larger size, in this case, a Large Classic. Here’s another one. Say you wear a size 9 or 9½ shoe. You should buy the X-Large Classic.

The FLiP HoP™: Totally opposite rules than for the Classic. Let’s say you are on the line between the same two sizes as in the above example; you wear a size 7½ or 8 shoe, which is exactly between a size Medium and Large. We recommend that you purchase the smaller of the two, a Medium FLiP HoP™. Here’s another one. If you wear a size 9 or 9 ½ shoe, exactly between a Large and an X-Large, you should buy the smaller of the two, the Large FLiP HoP™.

Kids Classic Bunny Slippers: We recommend that you purchase the size larger than shoe size would indicate. Example: Size 11 shoe would generally indicate Children’s size 10-12. We recommend you purchase the next larger size – a Youth 1-2. Two good reasons. 1) We found that the wonderfully thick and cushy sole is a good thing, but that children don’t weigh enough to “moosh” the sole down so the foot goes all the way to the nose. 2) Children’s feet are going to become larger, not smaller as the weeks and months pass. ‘Nuff said.

Easy. We each have been blessed with two boys and love being moms. We think that the lack of money should not be the deciding factor between a homeless child and his/her forever home with loving parents. Raising awareness as well as money to bring more families together brings a purpose to our passion…providing the world with the ultimate Bunny Slipper. Amen.
